Teen Book Review of the Week – Oct. 15, 2007

Maximum Ride: School’s out forever by James Patterson – 409 p.  5 stars

Max, Fang, Iggy, Nudge, the Gasman, and Angel are all genetically engineered kids who are very different from your average teen. They have wings, and are now trying to find their real parents, who might have given them up for testing – on purpose. Between going to a real school for the first time with the help of the FBI, and the sparks that fly when Max and Fang become confused on how they feel about each other, this is a very good book. I recommend it for both boys and girls who like science fiction, adventure and a tiny bit of romance.
