Teen Review: Day of Atonement

Day of Atonement

Title: Day of Atonement

Author:  Faye Kellerman

Summary:  While on his honeymoon, Detective Peter Decker becomes involved in an investigation into the disappearance of a boy from a strict Jewish community. Decker soon learns that the boy is running with a known serial killer who is only too happy to show the runaway the glorified life of crime. With his new marriage already strained, Decker must not only get to the boy before the killer corrupts him, but before his relationship falls apart as well.

I started reading it because… I like the crime genre, it’s full of action and surprise. On top of that it is a New York Times best-selling author so it sounded great.

I kept reading because… of the suspense.
