Teen Review: The Future of Us

The Future of Us

In the future we’ll probably be on Facebook.

Title and Author: The Future of Us by Jay Asher and Carolyn Mackler

I started reading this book because . . .  I had enjoyed reading Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher and wanted to read other books by him.

I kept on reading because . . .  I liked the premise of teens in 1996 being able to see their future selves on Facebook.

If the main character Emma was in a year book she would be voted: Fastest Runner.

Josh would be voted:  Best Friend.

Six word recap: Teens try to change their future.

This book reminded me of . . . the time turners in the Harry Potter series because they both deal with knowing the future and you realize that you shouldn’t try to change it.
