monopol pieces original[1]Summertime…when the sun sets so late, it’s easy to stay up half the night, listening to the sprinkler chugging away on the neighbor’s lawn, feeling the sand you picked up while running on the beach still squishing between your toes, sipping something cool and refreshing and old-fashioned like root beer…and playing board games. Summer means different things for different people. It might mean traveling, working, volunteering, taking classes, or just hanging out, counting the days until school starts again. If you’ve got time on your hands, why not play some games? The old-fashioned kind of games that don’t require electricity or screens or buttons to push. Remember those? The kind of games that use cards or dice or little plastic houses. The kind of games where people sit around a table and talk to each other face-to-face…perhaps while drinking ice-cold lemonade, listening to phonograph records…you know, old-fashioned stuff!
